We are watching a documentary about murderers serving life sentences in prison. I am thinking how odd it is that many of them seem like perfectly normal, not massively evil, guys* who you'd probably be quite happy to have a pint with.
As I am thinking this, wife says: "God, I'm not surprised they're all in prison - every single one of them seems like a complete freak."
*I particularly felt for one quietly spoken guy who was clearly driven insane with rage by his irredeemably vile sounding wife after she subjected him to utter humiliation. The judge should have sent him on a round the world cruise instead of to prison.
