On honeymoon in 2009 we spent some time wandering around the Venice Guggenheim, where I noticed this 1929 painting by Wassily Kandinsky, called Upwards, which could easily be imagined to represent a house being lifted into the air by a balloon.
This put me in mind of the 2009 Pixar film, Up, which I especially like because it reminds me of watching it one Saturday afternoon, curled up on the sofa with my wife after we discovered she was pregnant for the first time:
I always thought this was kinda interesting, and then today I discovered this blog post discussing how Kandinsky's ideas about design and composition feature in movies like Up. The scene used by the writer to illustrate his point ties in rather nicely to the post I wrote previously about my marriage, which brings everything to a neat little conclusion of sorts.

Sounds like you and family are in a nice groove...right place right time...cheers
